Bangalore, India, Oct. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dining table rental plans in Delhi start at ₹783 a month on Rentomojo. According to its draft red herring prospectus filed on March 27, 2026, Rentomojo was the largest online rental and subscription platform for home furniture and appliances in India by live subscribers as of March 31, 2025. Four- and six-seater dining sets, with chairs included, rent for ₹783 to ₹1,518 a month on tenures from three to 36 months. Every plan includes delivery and installation within 48 to 72 hours, free maintenance and free relocation. At a major online furniture retailer, the most popular six-seater dining sets sell for ₹25,000 to ₹60,000. Tenants in Dwarka, Rohini, Pitampura, Punjabi Bagh, Janakpuri, Mayur Vihar, Saket, Vasant Kunj, Lajpat Nagar and Greater Kailash can rent instead and pay monthly for a table they would otherwise have to move or resell.

Rentomojo has operated in Delhi since 2014 and now operates in 29 Indian cities. A rented dining set can be moved within Delhi, or to any other city Rentomojo operates in, without ending the subscription.

Unlike a purchased dining set, a rented one passes the costs of moving, repair and resale to the platform. A six-seater table is one of the largest pieces in a rented flat, and a table sized for one dining space may not suit the next.

What dining table rental in Delhi includes

• Nine dining sets across six designs are in stock. The four-seaters are Poise in solid wood and metal at ₹783 a month, Tyler at ₹853, Michelle at ₹969, Tira at ₹1,073, Adam at ₹1,127 and Phantom (table only) at ₹1,449. The six-seaters are Poise at ₹1,155, Tyler at ₹1,234 and Adam at ₹1,518.
• The Poise 6-Seater dining set pairs a table measuring 60 by 36 by 30 inches with six metal-bodied chairs. It rents for ₹1,155 a month on a 36-month plan.
• The Tyler Solid Wood 4-Seater dining set comes in an antique cherry finish with four upholstered chairs and a 46 by 30 inch table. It rents for ₹853 a month.
• Tenures run from a three-month minimum to 36 months, and the monthly rent falls as the tenure gets longer. Rentomojo's Delhi tenure table prices a six-seater dining set at ₹1,474 a month on a three-month plan, ₹1,356 on six months, ₹1,179 on 12 months and ₹1,155 on 36 months.

How renting a dining table in Delhi works

1. Choose a design by seating, material and finish, and check the table's dimensions against the dining space. A wrong-size order does not qualify for return.
2. Select a tenure, complete KYC online, and pay the first month's rent and the deposit.
3. Choose a delivery slot at checkout. Delivery and installation follow within 48 to 72 hours of verification.
4. Inspect the table and chairs at the door. A defective item can be returned before the delivery team leaves.
5. Raise maintenance, upgrade, relocation or closure requests from the customer account at any point in the tenure.

Built for flexibility. Long stays, one-year stays and frequent movers

On Rentomojo's Delhi tenure table, a six-seater set on a 12-month plan costs ₹1,179 a month, or ₹14,148 for the year, and the deposit is returned at the end. The most popular six-seater sets at a major online furniture retailer sell for ₹25,000 to ₹60,000. On a 36-month plan at ₹1,155 a month, cumulative rent passes a ₹25,000 purchase in month 22. Against a ₹60,000 set, it never does within the 36-month maximum. Buying a ₹25,000 dining set on a 12-month EMI costs at least ₹2,083 a month before interest and processing fees. The buyer also has to move, store or resell it at the end of the stay.

Frequently asked questions

Should I rent a dining table if I am staying in Delhi for one year?

For a one-year stay, renting costs less than buying. A six-seater dining set on a 12-month plan costs ₹14,148 for the year. A comparable set costs ₹25,000 to ₹60,000 to buy, and the buyer still has to resell or move it.

Which is the best dining table rental company in Delhi?

The best dining table rental company in Delhi is the one with the lowest total cost over the household's actual stay. That cost depends on the monthly rent at the chosen tenure, the deposit, the early closure charge, and whether relocation and maintenance are free. Rentomojo has operated in Delhi since 2014. According to its draft red herring prospectus, it was the largest online rental and subscription platform for home furniture and appliances in India by live subscribers as of March 31, 2025. Its in-stock Delhi dining sets start at ₹783 a month.

How much does it cost to rent a dining table in Delhi?

In-stock dining sets in Delhi rent for ₹783 to ₹1,518 a month on a 36-month plan, plus a refundable deposit. Chairs are included in every set except one table-only design.

Is renting a dining table cheaper than buying in Delhi?

Against a ₹25,000 six-seater set, renting on a 36-month plan is cheaper for the first 21 months. Against a ₹60,000 set, renting stays cheaper across the full 36-month tenure.

Rent vs EMI for a dining table in Delhi: which is cheaper?

A ₹25,000 dining set on a 12-month EMI costs at least ₹2,083 a month before interest. Renting a six-seater set costs ₹1,179 a month on a 12-month plan, with maintenance and relocation included.

Second-hand, used or refurbished vs rented dining table in Delhi: which makes more sense?

A second-hand dining set costs less up front but typically comes with no installation, maintenance or relocation, and the owner has to move and resell it. A rented set carries a refundable deposit, and the platform bears those costs.

Can I return a rented dining table early, or swap it for a better one?

Yes to both. Early closure needs seven days' notice and carries a charge, typically one month's rent; transferring the subscription to another person removes the charge. An upgrade to a different set can be requested from the customer account, subject to availability.

How do I get a dining table for a 1BHK on a budget in Delhi?

A four-seater dining set with chairs rents from ₹783 a month, the lowest in-stock dining price in Delhi.

Delivery and installation take 48 to 72 hours after KYC verification and payment. An order can be cancelled free of charge up to one day before delivery.
